Claw Ecosystem Consulting

The Complete Claw
AI Agent Family.

OpenClaw sparked a revolution in personal AI agents. Now there's a whole ecosystem of Claw variants — each with different languages, philosophies, resource requirements, and security models. We consult on all of them.

OpenClaw

Node.js / TypeScript

The original, created by Peter Steinberger. Full-featured personal AI assistant with 50+ integrations, 3,200+ ClawHub skills, persistent memory (MEMORY.md / SOUL.md), heartbeat daemon, multi-channel gateway (WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Signal, iMessage, Teams, Google Chat, Matrix), browser control, and the largest community. The reference implementation everything else is built against.

140K+ ★ · 20K forks · Node.js 22+ · ~1.5GB RAM · Gateway architecture · Full channel support

ZeroClaw

Rust

Pure Rust reimplementation with a "zero compromise" philosophy. 3.4MB binary, under 10ms startup, ~5MB RAM (194× lighter than OpenClaw). Swappable trait-based architecture — every subsystem (provider, channel, tool, memory) is a pluggable trait. 22+ model providers, hybrid vector + full-text memory with optional PostgreSQL backend. Built-in migration tool from OpenClaw. Developed by Harvard/MIT/Sundai.Club community.

3.4MB binary · <10ms startup · <5MB RAM · 22+ providers · Trait-driven architecture

PicoClaw

Go

Ultra-lightweight variant by Sipeed (hardware company), purpose-built for their $10 RISC-V and ARM boards. Under 10MB RAM, boots in under 1 second on 0.6GHz single-core hardware. Runs on old Android phones via Termux. 95% of core code was AI-generated during a self-bootstrapping process. Cross-compiles to RISC-V, ARM, and x86 as a single static binary.

5K+ ★ in 4 days · <10MB RAM · 1s boot · Sipeed hardware · Runs on $10 boards

NanoClaw

TypeScript / Claude Agent SDK

Container-isolated security model. Agents execute in Linux containers (Docker/Apple Container) with filesystem isolation — the agent literally cannot escape the container. ~500 lines core, built directly on Anthropic's Agent SDK. WhatsApp-first. "Skills over features" philosophy: contributors add Claude Code skills (like /add-telegram) that transform your fork, rather than adding features to the codebase.

7K+ ★ · Container isolation · Claude Agent SDK · Skills-over-features · Per-group context isolation

IronClaw

TypeScript / WebAssembly

Security-first design. Every tool runs inside a WebAssembly sandbox. Credentials are never exposed to tools — injected via Unix domain sockets from Keychain/1Password/Vault. Multi-layer prompt injection defense. Minimal channel support by design (fewer channels = fewer attack surfaces). Built for environments handling sensitive data.

WASM sandboxing · Credential isolation proxy · Multi-layer prompt injection defense · Minimal attack surface

NullClaw

Zig

Extreme minimalism. 678KB binary, approximately 1MB RAM. The smallest Claw variant with full assistant features. Written in Zig for systems-level performance. Broadest channel coverage alongside OpenClaw and ZeroClaw, despite the tiny footprint.

678KB binary · ~1MB RAM · Zig · Full channel support · Extreme minimalism

TinyClaw

Shell / Claude Code + tmux

OpenClaw in approximately 400 lines of shell script. Uses Claude Code + tmux for the runtime. Self-healing, WhatsApp-connected. A proof of concept that the Claw pattern works even in bash — and a surprisingly effective one.

1.3K ★ · ~400 lines · Shell script · tmux-based · Self-healing · WhatsApp

Emerging Variants

Various

The ecosystem keeps growing: Autobot (Crystal, 2MB binary, kernel-enforced sandboxing), Mini-Claw (minimalist Telegram-native using Claude Pro/Max directly), ZeptoClaw (stateless function calls — perfect repeatability, zero drift), plus implementations in C on ESP32 microcontrollers ($5 hardware). New variants appear weekly.

Crystal · C · ESP32 · Python · The family keeps growing

How We Help

mzdur consults on the entire Claw family. Whether you're choosing your first Claw, migrating between variants, hardening security, or architecting multi-agent deployments — we've got you.

Our consulting covers: choosing the right Claw for your hardware and use case, initial setup and channel configuration, security auditing and hardening (prompt injection defense, credential isolation, sandbox configuration), ClawHub skill vetting and custom skill development, migration between Claw variants (e.g. OpenClaw → ZeroClaw), multi-agent architecture and orchestration, on-premise deployment on Mac mini / NVIDIA DGX / custom hardware, and ongoing support retainers.
